Akshay on De Dana Dan, Tees Maar Khan

Ever since Farah Khan announced that she would be working with Akshay Kumar in her next film, Tees Maar Khan and not Shahrukh Khan, who is her favourite, there has been a lot of gossip on this. However, Akshay Kumar has come forward and stated that as he has already worked with Farah"s husband, Shirish Kunder on Jaan-E-Mann and with her brother, Sajid on Heyy Babyy and Housefull, it is only natural that he works with Farah.

According to Akshay, his character in Tees Maar Khan is that of a smart con-man. He will start shooting for the film as soon as he wraps up Priyadarshan"s Khatta Meetha.

Meanwhile, his song with Katrina Kaif in De Dana Dan is being compared to Aamir and Kareena"s rain song in 3 Idiots. All he has to say to that is that Aamir and Kareena make a good pair and that the song was beautifully shot. He is surprised at how romantic he and Katrina look even though he was suffering from high fever the day that song was shot. He also talks about how in the film, he plays a character who wants to impress Katrina but doesn"t have any money and thus takes to a crime, something he would never do in real life.

Next year onwards, Akshay plans on cutting down his assignments. He feels the young heroes like Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan can handle that.
