Amrita's last single Valentine's Day

Amrita Arora's Valentine's Day (February 14) won't begin with her fiance Shakeel Ladhak but at a book launch in the company of best friend Kareena Kapoor. Talking about her plans for Valentine's Day, Amrita says, "I'm starting the day with Rujuta's (Bebo's and her dietician) book launch but I'm sure Shakeel has something special planned. Ideally, I'd love to go for a nice meal at our favourite restaurant. But I am leaving the surprises to him. Right now, I have no time to breathe. Shakeel keeps giving me these special surprises. He knows best."

Apart from attending Rujuta's book launch, Amrita will also be shooting for a Pantaloon ad campaign on Saturday. Says a source close to Amrita, "Amu wants to go for a nice, candle-light dinner with Shakeel at their favourite restaurant, Royal China. Romance for both of them can be anything from dinner at a posh restaurant to them ordering bhel-puri from the streets with great music playing in the background."

Fortunately, both Shakeel and Amrita share the same tastes in music too. Says the friend, "Shakeel and Amu love rock, house, jazz and the blues. Their favorite romantic song is Simona by James Blunt which is very romantic and holds lovely memories for both of them. Apparently, it takes them back to the time they first met. They share the same passion for films too and their favourite film is the laugh riot, Zoolander."

This will be Amrita's last Valentine as a single girl. Says the friend, "It's weird how everyone keeps saying the same thing but for her it feels nice to be with someone for the rest of her life. Someone messaged her the other day, 'While you are breaking so many hearts by getting married the girls are sighing with relief as you are not a threat to them anymore...' Though Amu knows it's her last Valentine as a single girl she's not jittery as she's going to be with the man she loves forever."
