Anil doesn't expect another Slumdog Millionaire

It's Anil Kapoor who breaks the ice as the film Slumdog Millionaire begins. He is perfect as a show host. The scene where he turns around and said 'a chaiwallah', tunes the viewers into the mood of the film. This is the role that Shahrukh Khan turned down. Now, Anil thinks that he will never ever get such a role.

The veteran Indian actor said that a film like Slumdog Millionaire might not happen again ever in his life and anybody's life. He finds it difficult to believe that such a small film has done so well at the box office.

Well, the critically acclaimed film Slumdog Millionaire has so far won five Critics' Choice Awards, four Golden Globes and seven BAFTA Awards and has got 10 nominations at the Oscars. This Danny Boyle directed film based on the Mumbai slums features Anil Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Dev Patel and Freida Pinto.
