Asin leaves her parents

South Indian actress Asin Thottumkal, who entered Bollywood through Aamir Khan's Ghajini, is known for her close relationship with her parents. But she has shocked many by leaving her parents and moving to her new home.

Asin has bought a new home for herself. It was rumoured that her London Dreams co-star Salman Khan had gifted her but she is unmoved by the gossip. Being a loving father, Joseph Thottumkal has even given up his business to manage his daughter's acting career. It was even reported that some artistes were not happy to see him around on film sets. Asin has been defending her dad all these while but she has shocked many by choosing to leave her parents.

However, Asin clarified that her relationship with her parents is the same though moving into her new home has added more responsibilities. She added that she still ends up sleeping at her parents' home many times.
