Asin gets injured while saving a boy

If her character in Ghajini was golden hearted, Asin Thottumkal proved that she was no different in real life too. Recently while driving in her car Asin spotted a unmindful young boy on the road who was about to come in the way of a speeding car. She jumped off her car and managed to save the boy from a certain tragedy. In doing so she fell on the road and injured herself badly.

Asin was in acute pain when she woke up next morning and both her hands were swollen. The actress said that she could not even brush her teeth as she was unable to move her hands. She immediately rushed to Mumbai's Leelavati Hospital where the doctors diagnosed torn ligaments in both her hands and advice her rest.

When asked whether the boy's family thanked her for saving his life Asin said she did not do it to be thanked. Asin added that she did what she felt was right and did not do it for publicity. The Ghajini actress will be next seen in the movie London Dreams with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan. Well who says celebrities do not have hearts.
