Ayesha ties the knot with Farhan

Ayesha Takia and Farhan Azmi had a quiet nikaah with close friends and family at Farhan's restaurant in Colaba last night.

Says an eyewitness, "It was a simple, private ceremony with only close friends and family being present; around 200 people were present. Ayesha and Farhan's outfits were traditional ones and not made by any designers. While Farhan wore a white sherwani, Ayesha wore a gold sharara."

Tonight, Ayesha's mother, Faridah and Farhan's parents, Zaheda and Abu Azmi, will host a dinner and reception for the newly-wedded couple at the CCI Stadium in Churchgate where over 5000 guests are expected.
