The controversy on the compensation given to the child actors of Slumdog Millionaire has not died down but Mohammed Azharuddin or Salim and Rubina Ali or Latika don't seem to care about it a bit. At the moment, they are on pins and needles over the very thought of going to America.

It is said that the makers of Slumdog Millionaire are taking these slum kids to Los Angeles for the Oscar Awards. And the kids are over the moon. Rubina said that she never dreamed of going to America. However, the visa formalities for them are yet to be settled.

Slumdog Millionaire directed by Danny Boyle has been nominated at the Oscars in 10 categories. It features Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan in the lead roles.
