The
much-awaited
underwater
action-thriller
Blue
is
just
1
hour
57
minutes
long.
Commenting
on
the
length
of
his
film
director
Anthony
D'Souza
said,
"We
owe
it
to
the
audience
to
not
bore
them.
Blue
is
long
enough
to
tell
its
story
interestingly,
that's
it.
It
is
1
hour
57
minutes
of
sheer
adrenaline
rush."
Before
flying
off
with
Akshay
Kumar
to
the
Abu
Dhabi
Film
Festival
on
Wednesday
morning,
Anthony
was
nervously
mixing
the
Telugu
version
of
Blue.
"We
decided
to
do
Blue
in
a
dubbed
Telugu
version
because
we
got
a
good
buyer.
Though
I'm
supervising
the
mixing,
the
Telugu
dubbing
was
done
independently
and
the
voices
are
nothing
like
Mr.
Dutt,
Akshay
Kumar,
Lara,
Zayed,
etc."
On
Monday
night,
Blue
was
screened
for
the
first
time
for
the
cast
and
crew
at
Adlabs.
Strangely
only
Zayed
Khan
and
Kabir
Bedi
from
the
cast
showed
up.
"That's
because
the
rest
of
the
cast
was
traveling.
It
was
a
last-minute
decision
to
screen
the
film
for
the
crew
of
Blue," explains
Anthony.
With
the
final
running-time
of
just
1
hour
57
minutes,
Blue,
featuring
a
top
heavy
starcast
and
an
intricate
underwater
location,
is
a
sure
sign
of
restrain
and
brevity.
