Hema Malini-Esha: Mamma Mia

Hema Malini"s film, Tell Me Oh Khuda, the one she had planned for her daughter Esha, is finally in its pre-production stage. Starring Arjan Bajwa opposite Esha Deol, the film is about a girl who is on the search for her father. It bears too much resemblance to Hema Malini"s first and only film as a director, Dil Aashna Hai, which was about a girl on the lookout for her mother and starred Divya Bharati and Shahrukh Khan.

The film will be directed by Om Shanti Om"s dialogue writer and Dhoom"s associate director, Mayur Puri. Arjan was thrilled to meet Hema Malini and was overjoyed when she said that she had liked his work in Fashion. Tell Me Oh Khuda is supposed to be Esha"s Bollywood re-launch. The film will commence shooting from the end of this year.

Another news is doing the rounds that it will also feature Vinod Khanna and Rishi Kapoor in vital roles. Hema Malini said that people might think that it id based on Hollywood film Mamma Mia, though the story is different.
