Neil Nitin Mukesh's nude scene in jail censored

Madhur Bhandarkar"s Jail has passed the first hurdle. The Censor Board has given a U/A certificate to the film. It was left with seven cuts including the much-talked-about nude scene of the lead actor Neil Nitin Mukesh.

The Censor Board came down heavily on the film. It is said that seven scenes including a love-making scene between Neil and Mugdha Godse, a homosexual scene, a sex joke and Neil"s nude scene were chopped. A few abusive dialogues were also deleted.

Bhandarkar said that the board was not happy with some scenes in the film and asked him to further blur the already blurred nude scene. He added that he argued with them but opted for U/A certificate, as he wants everyone to watch the film, which reflects the country's judiciary system.

The Regional Officer of Censor Board also revealed that they have asked the makers of Jail to kill certain scene and dialogues. He however said that they loved the film. He added that it is an impressive, well researched and a thought-provoking film.

Jail is scheduled for release on November 6.
