One
allegation
or
the
other
crops
up
every
time
a
film
is
being
made,
and
Amitabh
Bachchan's
latest
offering
Paa
is
no
exception.
Some
say
that
it
is
a
remake
of
The
Curious
Case
of
Benjamin
Button
while
others
say
that
it
is
similar
to
Robin
Williams'
film
Jack.
But
director
Balakrishna
aka
Balki
said
that
Paa
is
not
a
remake.
The
director
of
Paa
clarified
that
Hollywood
films
The
Curious
Case
of
Benjamin
Button
and
Jack
have
nothing
to
do
with
his
film.
He
said
that
he
would
not
waste
so
much
money
and
time
on
a
remake
because
people
can
buy
the
original
versions
at
Rs.50.
He
added
that
it
is
neither
inspired
or
a
remake
of
these
films.
In
fact,
the
idea
of
making
the
film
struck
when
he
saw
Abhishek
Bachchan
pulling
his
father
Amitabh
Bachchan's
leg.
Then
someone
narrated
a
real-life
incident
of
a
progeria
patient.
Balki
said
that
the
disorder
was
just
an
excuse
to
put
his
ideas
into
celluloid.
He
also
saw
the
child
in
Amitabh,
as
he
has
wry
sense
of
humour
and
sarcastic
like
most
kids.
Paa
featuring
Amitabh,
Abhishek
and
Vidya
Balan
is
all
set
for
release
this
Friday,
December
4.
