Sanjay Dutt is Samajwadi Party General Secretary

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who his fans fondly called Munnabhai, was visibly disappointed after the Supreme Court's verdict went against him. His dream to contest for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Lucknow with Samajwadi Party ticket might have become a dream but he has been offered a prestigious post by the party.

Sanjay Dutt is reaping the fruit for his faithfulness to Samajwadi Party. He promised that he would stick to the party and campaign for it even after he was barred from contesting elections by the Supreme Court in connection to the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case . Now, the party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav has appointed him as the national General Secretary.

Sanjay Dutt said that he is happy and would work for the part with outmost dedication.
