Shahid is Pioneer's brand ambassador

Shahid Kapoor seems to have held his ground in the time of recession. While all others are busy cutting their prices this young star has made head way by sticking to his guns. Shahid has just recently been signed up as the brand ambassador for Pioneer. The move to sign Shahid to endorse music systems seems apparent due to his iconic status amongst the youth. Especially, since most of the time spent by youth today lies listening to music.

However, this will not be the first time that Shahid has received a big endorsement deal, even earlier he was flooded with requests. However, he is very choosy about the endorsement deals that he signs. Looking at this, we can't help but cheer the young star.

On the film front, Shahid has signed his father Pankaj Kapoor's directorial venture. Besides this, he also has Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminay where he plays a double role, Ken Gosh's tentatively titled Yahoo, which is a movie about a dancing sensation and also Yash Raj's film based on cricket.
