Year
2009
seems
to
have
begun
on
a
good
note
for
Baadshah
of
Bollywood-
Shahrukh
Khan.
SRK,
who
is
busy
shooting
for
My
Name
Is
Khan
with
Karan
Johar
and
Kajol,
was
in
for
a
pleasant
surprise
when
he
received
a
call
from
the
Hollywood
Foreign
Press
Association
(HFPA)
to
present
an
award
at
the
prestigious
Golden
Globes.
Shahrukh
would
be
announcing
the
winner
and
presenting
the
award
in
the
Best
Drama
category.
The
Golden
Globes
are
the
second
most
prestigious
film
awards
after
the
Oscars
and
it
is
for
the
first
time
that
an
Indian
actor
has
been
invited
to
the
Golden
Globes.
SRK
would
be
attending
the
event
on
Sunday
11th
January
along
with
good
friend
Karan
Johar.
Other
international
big
names
expected
to
attend
the
event
include
Hollywood
stars
such
as
Drew
Barrymore,
Cameron
Diaz,
Aaron
Eckhart,
Laurence
Fishburne,
Chris
Rock
and
Jennifer
Lopez.
Apart
from
SRK,
another
Indian
artiste
A
R
Rahman
would
be
gracing
the
event.
The
music
maestro
has
been
nominated
for
his
musical
score
in
Danny
Boyle's
much
talked
about
film
Slumdog
Millionaire
and
if
Rahman
manages
to
pull
it
off,
this
would
be
indeed
by
a
special
moment
for
Indians
across
the
globe.
