Bad news spreads faster than the good ones. This year's Annual Academy Awards has been marred a bit due to the rumours doing the rounds that the list of Oscar winners has been leaked. It all started after a website published the list of the winners. In the fake list, the much-hyped film Slumdog Millionaire gets a couple of awards.

According to the fake list, Slumdog Millionaire has been named the best film while its director Danny Boyle has been adjusted the best director. Kate Winslet bags Best Actress award for her performance in The Reader and Mickey Rourke wins Best Actor award for The Wrestler. Heath Ledger gets the best supporting actor award for The Dark Knight and Amy Adams wins best supporting actress gong for Doubt.

However, the Oscars spokesperson Leslie Unger said that the list is a complete fraud, as the counting of votes is still on. Well, we will come to know if Slumdog Millionaire, which has 10 nominations, really wins Oscar Awards when the winners are declared on 22nd.

Though Slumdog Millionaire is not made by Indians, it is more like an Indian film because it's shot in Mumbai. Moreover, the star cast of the film Anil Kapoor, Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, Irrfan Khan, Mohammed Azharuddin Ismail and Rubina Ali are Indians.
