The
Ministry
of
Finance,
Government
of
India,
has
roped
in
actors
Aamir
Khan
and
Akshay
Kumar,
the
highest
tax
payers
in
Bollywood,
for
the
documentary
produced
by
the
Income
Tax
Department.
It's
purpose
is
to
spread
the
message
of
tax
compliance.
The
20-minute
documentary
also
features
Priyanka
Chopra
and
has
narration
by
Om
Puri.
Finance
Minister
Pranab
Mukherjee
will
unveil
it
at
the
first-ever
Income
Tax
day
celebrations
on
July
24
in
New
Delhi.
It
is
to
mark
150
years
of
taxation
in
the
country
and
corporate
chiefs
like
Infosys
mentor
Narayan
Murthy
and
Wipro
founder
Azim
Premji
will
speak
on
the
occasion.
It
may
be
mentioned
that
Akshay's
total
advance
tax
payment
in
the
current
financial
year
amounted
to
Rs.18
crore
whereas
that
of
Aamir's
is
Rs.12
crore.
