Her
first
film
Rab
Ne
Bana
Di
Jodi
was
a
blockbuster
success
while
her
second
film
Badmaash
Company
is
en
route
to
be
a
hit
as
well.
While
Anushka
Sharma
can
certainly
be
seen
smiling,
one
wonders
whether
she
is
missing
being
a
part
of
song
and
dance
routine?
After
all
looking
at
each
of
her
two
films
so
far,
it
seems
like
she
has
been
pretty
much
deprived
of
that.
"See,
different
people
connect
to
different
things.
Both
my
films
have
been
quite
different
so
far
when
compared
to
regular
romantic
tales
that
hit
the
screens
every
second
week.
That's
the
beauty
of
my
films
so
far
because
they
have
had
a
bit
of
everything.
This
allowed
me
to
touch
upon
various
elements",
says
Anushka,
"Even
though
Badmaash
Company
was
about
a
journey,
friends,
dreams,
ambitions,
bonds
and
scams,
there
was
also
romance
which
was
beautifully
woven
into
the
narrative.
Still,
doesn't
she
feel
like
stepping
into
the
shoes
of
a
quintessential
Bollywood
heroine?
"Of
course
I
am
a
Hindi
film
heroine
in
Badmaash
Company;
who
else
was
the
leading
lady
there",
laughs
Anushka,
"I
am
not
looking
at
meaningless
roles
where
all
I
have
to
do
is
look
good,
wear
great
costumes
and
do
my
hair.
No,
I
am
not
saying
there
is
anything
wrong
in
it.
After
all
a
lot
of
people
like
it
that
way.
Still,
what
matters
to
me
is
the
kind
of
films
that
I
am
doing."
"Tomorrow,
if
I
get
a
fantastic
script
then
I
am
game
when
it
comes
to
dancing
around
the
trees
as
well",
she
comes
up
with
a
follow
up
statement,
"I
am
quite
open
to
that
as
long
as
it
excites
me
enough.
I
am
sure
though
that
I
would
invest
my
energy,
mind
and
soul
only
into
something
that
totally
convinces
me.
Else,
I
will
let
that
pass."
Well,
looking
at
the
kind
of
choices
that
Anushka
has
made
so
far,
one
can
be
rest
assured
that
the
pretty
girl
certainly
knows
where
to
put
her
money.
