Ashutosh promotes his next flick on networking sites

Ashutosh Gowarikar"s upcoming directorial venture Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is a historical treat from his stable to his countrymen. The current year will end with the release of the much-awaited movie starring Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan.

At present, the director is all set to create hype around his movie by tweeting (on Twitter) and sharing on Facebook. He unveiled the look of Abhishek as Mastar da Surya Sen, a legendary revolutionary, on Facebook this 15th August and also tweeted about his valiant protagonist on Twitter.

In his tweet, he wished his fans on the 63rd year of Independence and gave some glimpses of the real life hero Surya Sen, who was the driving force behind the Chittagong Uprising of 1930 against the British.

Gowariker, who has earlier directed movies like Lagaan, Swadesh and Jodha-Akbar on patriotism, heroism and Indian history, shared in his tweet why he was so keen to shape up the latest project and why he chose such a grand subject. Everyone celebrates Netaji"s birthday and Gandhiji"s birthday but no one does so when it is Surya Sen. His contribution to the making of Indian freedom history is no less. To revive the people"s memory of Master da is the director"s prime objective.
