Deepika can't relate to her Break Ke Baad role

What factor does an actor usually look at before signing a film? They make sure if they can relate to the character offered to them. Even if not, they make sure that they get into the skin of the character through research. So, it came as a surprise when Deepika Padukone said that she couldn't identify with her character in Break Ke Baad, where she acts with Imran Khan.

Deepika said that she couldn't identify her character in Break Ke Baad, as she doesn't believe in love, commitment, relationship and marriage, which is very unlike her. She said that her character in the film reacts to love without thinking while she is sensitive.

But why she took up the role if she couldn't identify with her character? Well, the actress said that she accepted the role because it's very different from ones she had done in the past.

Break Ke Baad, directed by Danish Aslam and produced by Kunal Kohli, is about long-distance relationship. It is releasing today, November 26.
