Hisss earns 6 crores in its opening weekend

Naagin avatar of Mallika Sherawat has finally shown the magic during the weekend. Hisss opened with rave reviews of the critics and thus was not expected to fetch a lot of viewers. But to everyone's surprise Hisss has finally managed to earn more than 6 crore in its opening weekend only from its Hindi version.

The sexy Mallika's raised has managed to draw her fans to see the movie. However, the elite calss people prefered to stay away from the film. Nevertheless, the film has done a good business in the market.

Hisss can now be termed as a commercially successful movie and a hit among the distributors. Surprisingly, Mallika gave a tough competition to the big budgeted male star driven films, Vivek Oberoi"s Rakta Charitra and John Abraham"s Jhootha Hi Sahi. The success of Hisss comes in a surprising package because the promotions of the other two films were well planned as compared to that of Hisss.

The film managed to receive a positive response from the youngsters and from the single screens cinema halls. Mallika was quoted saying that she was happy to learn that the film has been liked by the youngsters. It was reported that the director of the film Jennifer Lynch distanced herself from the movie after it received negative critical comments. On this, Mallika said that the real story is yet not known to everyone. She confirmed that the filmmakers and the casts are happy to take the credit of the success of the film.

However, it looks like 'naagin" has finally shown her real color!
