Kajol shoots for thyroid awareness

A lot has been said about thyroid, but not enough. Hence Kajol has taken it upon herself to create awareness about it.

After having done number of commercial endorsements and films, the actress has taken up this initiative and shot a campaign with the NGO to create public awareness about Thyroid. In the advertisement that Kajol shot, the theme is one where she urges women to go in for a check up. Also, the focus is on making people aware that it isn't a taboo or one that is contagious, instead it's completely curable.
