Generally,
actors
are
known
to
go
that
extra
mile
when
it
comes
to
being
in
the
public
eye.
At
least
most
actors
are
known
to
be
go-getters.
But
Kunal
Kapoor,
who
has
worked
with
several
reputed
names
in
the
past,
remains
an
exception.
The
actor
hasn't
had
a
single
release
since
Bachna
Ae
Haseeno,
which
was
released
in
2008.
The
talented
actor
will
now
be
seen
in
Lamhaa,
enacting
a
significant
role
with
experienced
actors
such
as
Sanjay
Dutt,
Bipasha
Basu
and
Anupam
Kher.
The
first
question
I
ask
Kunal
is,
where
has
he
disappeared?
Kunal
laughs,
"Can
you
believe
it,
I
haven't
had
a
release
since
two
years?
(jokes)
I
am
following
(his
good
friend)
Hrithik's
footsteps." He
gets
serious
instantaneously,
"But
it's
going
to
change
now.
I
am
not
going
to
be
overtly
choosy
now.
I
am
meeting
film-makers,
listening
to
film
scripts
and
if
all
goes
well,
you
will
hear
a
couple
of
film
announcements
shortly."
Kunal
is
looking
forward
to
Lamhaa
with
bated
breath.
"It
has
shaped
up
exceedingly
well.
Besides
a
gripping
story,
its
the
first
film
to
be
filmed
in
Kashmir
in
recent
times.
Lamhaa
has
straight-out-of-life
characters
and
it
had
to
be
shot
in
the
state.
Shooting
in
Kashmir
was
an
enriching
experience
and
gives
the
film
a
stunning
look,"
Kunal
states.
Kunal
has
the
looks
and
most
importantly,
the
talent.
All
he
needs
is
one
major
Hit
to
cement
his
status
in
this
competitive
industry.
