Madhoo in Hema Malini's Tell Me Oh Khuda

The very mention of the song “Dil Hai Chhota Sa...Chhoti Si Aasha" not just brings absolute vivid memories about the scenic beauty that Mani Ratnam had enigmatically captured in his iconic film Roja, but also the image of a girl who was 'innocence personified'. She was Madhoo, the very name who became an instant talk of the town and country, all thanks to her true-to-life performance in the said film.

For past few years, even though Madhoo was seen in a few small films, no one really took a note of it. But, it seems that actress is now all set to change this equation. She is making a grand comeback with Hema Malini's much talked about film Tell Me Oh Khuda. Madhoo will be playing Vinod Khanna's daughter-in-law, who is pregnant for the second time in the film. Her role is that of a Rajasthani woman who has to fight the bias against the girl child in the state.

It'll be interesting to see if Madhoo manages to make an impact again in Bollywood with her aunt, Hema Malini's, film, which is also a re-launch of sorts for Esha Deol.
