Konkana Sen on her sexy role in Mirch

Actress Konkana Sen Sharma is pregnant and the baby is due for delivery in March, but for now, her eyes are set on her film Mirch, which is releasing next Friday, December 17. Interestingly, Mirch is a sex comedy with ample lovemaking scenes.

Konkana revealed that Mirch consists of four short stories that revolve around a struggling filmmaker. “All the four stories in the film are thematically linked, as they are about women who take charge of their sexual destiny. The film is funny and very tongue-in-cheek. I play the characters of a Rajasthani queen married to a much older man played by Prem Chopra. She is sexually unsatisfied so she seduces other younger men. In the other story, I play a modern day woman from a lower-middle class family," IBNLIVE quoted the actress as saying.

Mirch has hit the headlines hard because of its sexy trailer. The actors are seen kissing, sharing the same bed and even massaging. There is a scene similar to the one in Titanic, but in Mirch, the hero does body paint literally. As if that's not enough, the heroine goes topless in one of the scenes.

Mirch is a celebration of womanhood and deals with gender equality in relationship. It is a sex comedy with lots of wit and intelligence. Directed by Vinay Shukla, it features Konkona Sen Sharma, Raima Sen, Shahana Goswami, Ila Arun, Shreyas Talpade and others in the lead roles. It is set for release next Friday, December 17.
