Raajneeti won't be premiered at IIFA

The principal star cast and core team of Raajneeti will be on a whirlwind tour to various cities across the globe in the next few days. The general trend is to have multiple premieres for the film, but Prakash Jha is raising funds for a hospital in Bihar and therefore, charity dinner will be organized in Hong Kong, Singapore, the Middle East and several key cities.

"We are yet to finalize a few more destinations," Shikha Kapur, Sr. Vice President - Marketing, UTV informs me. The star cast will visit a few venues prior to the film's release and a few, after the film's release.

Initially, there was talk that Raajneeti would be premiered at the forthcoming IIFA weekend in Sri Lanka, but the plans have been called off. "Most actors are travelling to various cities and therefore, it wasn't possible for them to attend the premiere in Sri Lanka. We are having just one premiere for the film and that will be in Mumbai," Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV divulges.
