Rahman to perform live for Raavan's music release

Raavan, the Mani Ratnam movie will have its audio getting released on April 24. All the cast and crew of Raavan, including the Bachchan family will be a part of this function. Mani Ratnam has decided to make this a big event. And guess what its composer A R Rahman will be performing live during the function. This is the first live show by Rahman after getting the Oscars.

The audience is said to include selected Bollywood people and the media. Rahman is taking a break from his world tour for this live performance. Rahman is expected to perform a couple of tracks from Raavan and selected songs from all Mani Ratnam films he has scored, right from his debut Roja to last flick Guru.

Rahman has already started the rehearsal for the show in Mumbai. Also on April 25, its the IPL finale and guess what Rahman will be performing live in Mumbai for the IPL final too!
