Dusshera,
Maya
Digital
Media
Production's
3D
animation
flick
Ramayana
-
The
Epic
is
all
set
to
hit
the
silver
screen
pan
India.
Directed
by
Chetan
Desai,
the
flick
is
inspired
by
Valmiki's
version
of
the
Ramayana,
and
showcases
some
of
the
most
complex
animated
characters,
environments,
and
spectacular
virtual
sets.
The
film
is
distributed
by
Warner
Bros
in
India
and
will
hit
the
screens
on
15th
October.
It
is
being
released
in
English
and
Hindi
along
with
versions
in
Tamil,
Telugu,
Gujarati
and
Marathi
as
well.
The
debutant
Director
Chetan
Desai
shared,
"With
the
initial
script
that
was
nine
hours
long,
the
film
took
four
years
in
the
making
out
of
which,
one
and
a
half
years
spent
in
refining
the
script
and
pre-production"
Over
100
minutes
long,
Ramayana
-
The
Epic
is
a
mythological
adventure,
made
in
a
stylized
and
contemporary
manner
with
action
sequences,
imaginative
visual
virtuosity
and
an
aesthetic
visual
design.
Maya's
Ketan
Mehta,
added,

Ramayana

The
Epic
Indian
animation
industry
is
scaling
new
heights.
It
has
a
spectacular
audio
visual
experience
far
beyond
any
thing
ever
attempted
in
India,"
Ramayana

The
Epic
has
Manoj
Bajpayee,
Juhi
Chawla,
and
Ashutosh
Rana
lending
their
voices
to
the
lead
characters
of
Ram,
Sita
and
Ravan
respectively.

a
concluding
noted,
Producer
Deepa
Sahi
added
"Ramayana
-
The
Epic
with
its
moving
contemplation
of
mortality,
human
values
and
power
of
good
over
evil
is

perfect
piece
of
popular
entertainment
