Salman gets support from Raj Thackeray

By Raymond Ronamai

Bollywood actor Salman Khan received lots of flaks for his statement on the 26/11 terror attacks, and he ended up apologising for hurting the sentiments of the people. But surprisingly, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, who had earlier attacked several Bollywood actors, has defended Salman.

Thackeray said that the media sensationalised the whole issue by twisting Salman's statement. He added that the actor questioned Pakistan on the 26/11 terror attacks in the same interview but the media ignored it.

In an interview to a Pakistani TV channel, Salman Khan had said, "Too much hype has been created around the 26/11 attacks because elite people were targeted. Attacks have happened in trains and small towns too, but no one talked about it so much."
