Sanjay-Manyata welcome twins

The long nine months wait has finally come to an end for actor Sanjay Dutt, with wife Manyata Dutt giving birth to twins, a boy and a girl, on Thursday afternoon ( 21st October, 2010).

A very close friend of the couple actress Amisha Patel, who earlier, had thrown a baby shower for Manyata's babies expressed her happiness. She congratulated the couple by posting on a micro-blogging site "At the hospital. Maanayata just delivered. One boy one girl. Congrats to Sanju n maana. Sooo happy for them. Babies n mom both safe."

Shilpa Shetty Kundra also congratulated the couple by tweeting, “Congrats @duttsanjay and Manyataa on ure twins..soooo happy."

The 51-year-old actor has a daughter named Trisha from his first wife late actress Richa Sharma. Trisha is presently residing in US.
