Satish Kaushik to get funny with Double Dhamaal

Director Satish Kaushik will be seen in a comic role after a long time with Indra Kumar"s Double Dhamaal. The actor cum director was recently in news for his character roles in the internationally acclaimed films Road - The Movie and Bricklane, where he was featured in a very serious and character-oriented roles.

Satish Kaushik is known for his comic character in films like Mr.India, Saajan Chale Sasural and Ram Lakhan. He also got Filmfare best comedian award. Some of his other light films are Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Gharwali Baharwali, Hum Kisise Kam Nahi, Had Kardi Aapne, Pardesi Babu etc. Now, with Double Dhamaal, Satish Kaushik will be back on the commercial Bollywood masala film arena, ready to tickle your funny bone once again.

Speaking on the subject, Satishji says, “I have always enjoyed comedy. Being from the theatre background, serious roles do appeal to me but it's comedy that is truly challenging and rewarding as well. Working with Indra Kumar, who is a very good friend, is a toast. It was fun shooting with Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish and Javed Jaffrey on very first day. They are a bunch of real brats and superb at improvisations. I am looking forward to Double Dhamaal."
