The
inevitable
has
happened.
Armed
with
strong
evidences
and
television
clips,
the
Siddiquis
won
the
war
against
the
former
Pakistani
cricket
captain
Shoaib
Malik.
It
is
reported
that
Malik
finally
admitted
his
marriage
to
Ayesha
Siddiqui
and
signed
the
divorce
papers
this
morning.
“Shoaib
has
admitted
of
his
marriage
to
Ayesha.
He
has
agreed
to
sign
the
divorce
papers,
but
whether
it
has
been
signed
so
far
has
not
been
confirmed
yet.
This
is
was
a
safer
bet
for
him," Times
Now
quoted
Siddiquis"
lawyer
Barrister
Farooq
Hasan
as
saying.
Speaking
to
Times
Now,
Dr
Shams
Babar,
a
close
family
friend
of
the
Siddiquis
said,
“A
compromise
has
taken
place
today
morning.
The
divorce
papers
has
been
signed
by
Shoaib.
The
charges
against
him
will
be
dropped."
It
may
be
recalled
that
the
Siddiquis
had
earlier
filed
an
FIR
against
Shoaib
Malik
after
he
refused
to
issue
the
divorce
paper
to
Ayesha,
who
alleged
she
married
him
in
2002.
The
controversy
broke
out
after
Malik
declared
that
he
would
marry
Sania
Mirza
on
April
15.
