She
may
be
a
newbie
in
the
world
of
Hindi
films
but
that
doesn"t
maker
her
perturbed.
Ask
Trisha
and
she
would
say
with
utmost
confidence
that
she
knows
how
to
make
her
way
into
the
industry.
To
add
to
that,
Trisha
is
sure
about
not
quite
looking
for
a
Godfather
in
Bollywood
to
make
that
happen.
“I
am
quite
knowledgeable
when
it
comes
to
Hindi
films,
which
means
I
don"t
have
to
look
for
any
external
sources
to
tell
me
what"s
happening
in
the
industry",
says
Trisha
who
has
been
in
the
world
of
glamour
for
8
years
and
has
worked
in
35
odd
films
down
South.
“I
may
not
have
my
base
in
Mumbai
but
I
pretty
much
know
who
is
ruling
or
calling
the
shots."
No
wonder,
she
is
not
looking
at
anyone
in
particular
to
hold
her
hand
and
act
as
a
guiding
force.
For
someone
with
a
massive
acting
experience
behind
her,
Trisha
does
trust
no
one
but
herself
when
it
comes
to
picking
just
the
right
project
and
working
with
the
right
people.
“Honestly,
it
is
just
I
who
takes
the
call,
whether
it
is
my
personal
or
professional
life",
smiles
Trisha
who
made
her
debut
opposite
Akshay
Kumar
recently
in
Khatta
Meetha.
“I
have
friends
from
the
industry
who
have
been
supportive
so
even
when
I
am
in
Chennai,
I
keep
getting
all
the
updates.
I
am
well
aware
about
the
scripts
which
are
being
worked
upon,
who
is
going
to
be
the
director
and
whether
it
would
make
sense
for
me
to
work
in
it.
Once
convinced,
I
take
a
decision
and
then
go
for
it."
It
is
this
very
conviction
due
to
which
she
talks
fondly
about
her
next
film,
a
remake
of
Tamil
film
Vinnaithaandi
Varuvaayaa
with
Prateik
which
would
be
directed
by
Gautham
Menon.
“That"s
right.
I
am
playing
someone
totally
different
than
what
I
was
in
Khatta
Meetha.
I
have
complete
idea
about
what
the
role
demands
from
me
because
I
have
also
worked
in
the
original.
The
pairing
with
Prateik
itself
shows
that
the
characterization
would
be
much
younger."
One
can
well
understand
why
she
is
so
exited.
After
all
for
someone
who
had
to
play
the
role
of
a
collector
in
her
very
first
Hindi
film,
playing
someone
younger
would
anyways
would
be
much
desirable.
