In
Bollywood,
clash
of
two
big
films
releasing
on
the
same
day
is
not
a
very
unusual
fact.
However,
this
time
two
big
films
in
the
line
are
not
directly
bothered
about
the
release
date
but
about
the
theaters.
Karan
Johar"s
We
Are
Family
is
releasing
on
2nd
September
and
the
very
next
week
will
be
the
release
date
for
Salman
Khan
starrer
movie
Dabangg.
Dharma
Productions
and
Arbaaz
Khan
Productions
are
facing
a
lot
of
problem
to
arrange
the
single
theaters
for
the
screening
of
their
respective
movies.
Dharma
Productions
wants
a
two-week
commitment
from
a
few
theatres
for
We
Are
Family
which
stars
Kareena
Kapoor,
Kajol
and
Arjun
Rampal.
But
all
the
single
screen
theaters
are
not
willing
to
commit
this
because
they
want
to
cash
in
on
Salman
Khan"s
Dabangg,
which
will
be
released
in
the
second
week.
A
source
from
the
industry
was
quoted
saying
that
We
Are
Family
makers
want
two
weeks
commitment
from
single
theatres,
which
is
not
acceptable
to
most
of
them.
These
theaters
have
informed
about
their
objection
to
Karan
Johar
and
UTV
Motion
Pictures.
Owner
of
Maratha
Mandir,
Manoj
Desai
said
that
why
Karan
is
so
adamant
about
two
weeks
if
he
is
confident
about
We
Are
Family.
He
added
that
Karan
should
allow
his
film
to
speak.
Santosh
Bhatia,
exhibitor
of
Premiere
in
Dadar
and
Premier
Gold
in
Dongri
said
that
he
wouldn"t
like
to
lose
on
a
film
like
Dabangg.
He
said
that
he
would
have
agreed
to
give
two
week"s
commitment
if
Dabangg
would
not
be
releasing
the
following
week.
