IT conceals 11 cr unaccounted wealth of Priyanka-Atul

After all the denials and press meets by actress Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif on their unaccounted wealth, the Income-tax officials on Thursday revealed an unaccounted wealth of 11 crores. The IT department claimed that they have come across some documents that reveals unaccounted wealth of around Rs 11 crores, while searching Priyanka Chopra and photographer Atul Kasbekar's properties.

Reportedly, Priyanka and her father Dr Ashok Chopra have concealed income of Rs 7.5 crore, while Kasbekar who is also the owner of the event management firm Blink had also hidden details of his Rs 4-crore.

It has been more than a week that the IT-Department has been conducting a search of the properties of Kasbekar, Priyank and Katrina. But, all the three have denied of any concealed wealth. IT officials however, have no found any hidden cash at their place. Revealed an IT- official to the TOI, “It was a surprise for us as we believed the film sector is still dependent on the cash component. Actors are mostly paid in cash, be it for ads or appearances at parties. Still, it is too early to say anything as investigations are still going on and we are yet to open the sealed lockers of Priyanka, Kasbekar and Katrina Kaif."

The investigation till date have revealed Priyanka Chopra, who is the killer of her seven husband in her upcoming film 7 Khoon Maaf, owns nine flats and documents of unaccounted wealth of Rs 7 crores. However, Priyanka's publicist denies to the report saying that, “We deny the malicious rumours doing the rounds spread in the media on the basis of some unidentified sources. We are cooperating with the I-T authorities. on their ongoing investigations and are We decline to comment now."

Similarly, the Sheila of Bollywood Katrina Kaif has also been denying to the unaccounted wealth. While the IT source reveal an unaccounted wealth of Rs 6 crores being concealed from her properties. However, her CA clarified on Tuesday that, “My client is disturbed by speculative reports in the media that she has disclosed unaccounted income running into several crores and unaccounted lockers were found. The fact is no unaccounted income has been declared by Katrina."
