Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is shooting for his upcoming film Bol Bachchan in Jaipur, has suffered minor injuries on his head and legs in an accident on the set of the film. The Bollywood star was shooting for an action scene, when he fell from a rickshaw. He was immediately rushed to hospital and the filming was called off after the accident.
Abhishek Bachchan left for Mumbai in a plane after taking treatment in a private hospital. The actor tweeted, "Had a fall whilst filming a small action sequence in Jaipur. Have come back to Mumbai now and will resume work at the earliest... I will be fine. Can't say the same for the rickshaw!!! Banged him up good! Hehe...Thank you again for all the get well soon messages. The MUST and WILL go on. Lots of love and gratitude.(sic)."
Meanwhile, Abhishek's father, superstar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted and confirmed that the actor has received six stiches near his eye. On his Twitter page, Big B wrote, "T 496 - Abhishek's had an accident on set in Jaipur, has just flown back .. 6 stitches near eye .. Is well .. Will take some days to recover."
However, Bol Bachchan has been written and directed by Singham fame Rohit Shetty, who has been shooting the film at different locations in Jaipur for the last few days. The movie features Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Asin, Prachi Desai and Archana Puran Singh in the lead roles.
