Actor
Abhishek
Bachchan,
who
will
be
seen
in
the
upcoming
film
Dum
Maaro
Dum
by
director
Rohan
Sippy
has
yet
again
swapped
his
role
in
the
film.
This
is
the
second
time
that
Abhishek
has
taken
up
a
role
which
was
not
originally
meant
for
him.
The
character
of
a
cop
that
the
actor
is
playing
in
Dum
Maaro
Dum
was
originally
meant
for
Telugu
star
Rana
Daggubati.
Abhishek
informs
Mid
Day,
“When
Rohan
came
to
me
with
this
film,
he
wanted
me
to
play
the
role
of
DJ
Joki,
the
role
that
Rana
is
playing
now.
But
when
I
read
the
script,
I
told
him
that
I
want
to
do
ACP
Vishnu
Kamath's
role
instead,
because
I
felt
I
would
be
able
to
do
that
role
better
and
Rohan
agreed."
After
reading
the
script
Abhishek
liked
the
attitude
of
cop
in
Dum
Maaro
Dum.
He
was
impressed
by
the
way
the
character
tackled
the
situations
in
life.
Abhishek
has
not
swapped
his
role
for
the
first
time.
Earlier,
during
Bluffmaster
(2005),
Abhishek
had
swapped
his
role
with
that
of
Riteish
Deshmukh's.
