Abhishek Bachchan is the USP of Game

Though the promotions of the film Game was going in full swing, it must be noticed that nobody including the makers of the film are talking about the character that Abhishek Bachchan is playing in the film. It is reported that Abhishek's character in the film is the USP of Game.

Till date it is only revealed that Abhishek play the role of an international mafia don who covers up his profession as a casino owner. However, not much about the character in the film is revealed. The promos have been hiding the real factor in the film.

A source revealed to Bollywood Hungama, "This is the very reason why Abhishek was the chosen one. Since he played a hardcore villain in Raavan, audience is now prepared to see him as any character, whether white, black or grey. There are others in his age group too but they have such set image that people don't even want to believe that they could ever go wrong. They keep thinking that yeh character baad mein white ho jaayega due to which the entire suspense element is lost."

Director Abhinay Deo intentionally chose Abhishek for the mafia role. The character of the mafia in the film is designed to be ultra cool and only Abhishek Bachchan could have compensated the character in Game. Abhinay says, “The character of Neil Menon (Abhishek) is such that he doesn't speak too much but has an incredible sense of humour. There is also immense likeability about this guy even though he is mysterious. He carries himself with panache and when you look into his eyes, you know that he means business."

He continues, "For Game, I wanted a star-actor who would have all these qualities. He turned out to be the perfect fit since he is extremely suave, carries himself well, delivers his lines with a style of his own, is sombre and still very likeable. Moreover, his persona has a mystery element to it and I was surprised to know that despite being in the industry for a decade, he had never done a suspense thriller."
