Aishwarya Bachchan to be honoured by CM Yeddyurappa

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be honoured by the Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa at the opening ceremony of the second Vishwa Kannada Sammelana at Belgaum.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be honoured on March 11 for her contributions and achievement in the field of art and culture in India and all over the world. The opening ceremony of the sammelana will honour people of Karnataka origin who have achieved great heights in various fields.

The objective of the Vishwa Kannada Sammelan is to put forward the developments achieved by Karnataka in the field of agriculture, irrigation, information and technology, biotechnology, industry and arts and culture.
