Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's baby shower celebrated in style at Jalsa

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is eight months pregnant had a grand baby shower on Tuesday, October 18 at the Bachchan household Jalsa in Mumbai. The baby shower was hosted by Aishwarya's mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan.

The Jalsa house in Bandra, which was packed with guests was decked with flowers and had a festive look to it. The event went off well with songs, dances and celebrations going hand in hand. Mickey Contractor, make-up artist helped Aishwarya Rai Bachchan get ready for the baby shower.

Speaking to a news channel, Saira Banu, who gifted Aishwarya a gold chain said, “Aishwarya was looking like a 'chand ka tukda'. We wish Abhishek and Aishwarya all the best."

Choreographer Saroj Khan, who was also a guest for Aishwarya's baby shower said that she was amazed on seeing so many celebrity women together. Aishwarya Rai received blessings and good wishes from all the women gathered at the Bachchan household for her godh bharai. Saroj Khan also mentioned that Shweta Bachchan along with mom Jaya Bachchan paid attention to each and every guest.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's baby shower was attended by prominent Bollywood celebrities like Saira Banu, Asha Parekh, Dimple Kapadia, Saroj Khan, Urmila Matondkar, Twinkle Khanna, Sonali Bendre, Manyata Dutt, Ritu Nanda, Neetu Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Mana Shetty, Vaibhavi Merchant, Poonam Sinha, designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Karan Johar, and designers Neeta Lulla and Shaina NC amongst many others.
