Aishwarya Rai Bachchan continues to endorse L'Oreal

Recently, their was a news about the Slumdog Millionaire girl Freida Pinto replacing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the face to the cosmetic brand L'Oreal Paris. However, the firm have denied any such rumours saying that Aish continues to be the brand ambassador of L'Oreal.

These rumours cropped when Ms Pinto was seen featuring in the L'Oreal Paris New Year 2011's commercial ad. The official statement of the firm stated that they were shocked when they read in some of the media write-ups that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been replaced as the face of the brand. They added that L'Oreal Paris confirms that the piece of information is totally untrue and Aishwarya continues to be the brand ambassador as she has been with them since the year 2000.

The statement also cleared that as Aishwarya was busy with some of her prior commitments thus couldn't be their for the shoots of the commercial ad for New Year. Praising the dignity of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the statement stated that Aishwarya is one of the most “iconic women" and will remain the face the brands both in India and Internationally for some range of products like Total Repair 5, Excellence Crème, Color Riche, Hydrafresh.
