Akshay-Ajay friends again; consolidate on title Son Of Sardar

The enmity between actors Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar is known to everyone. But who knew that this long lived rivalry between the two will come to an end with just 'a visit'. Devgn recently, made a surprise visit on the sets of Akshay's Rowdy Rathore. This small visit has turned foes into friends again.

Reportedly, Ajay visited Akshay on the sets of his film to ask for the rights of the title 'Son Of Sardar', which the later possess official. Ajay is keen on using the particular title for his Hindi remake of Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. Akshay, who was surprised to see Ajay on the sets initially refused to part with the title 'Son Of Sardar'. Meanwhile the duo agreed to join hands for an action film, which will be directed by Rohit Shetty.

Just a day later, on Monday afternoon, Akshay changed his mind and sent across a letter of consent, giving away the title 'Son Of Sardar' to Ajay. Devgn was thrilled. “I had asked Akshay for the title. The title was extremely close to his heart. It is a very good gesture Akshay Kumar's part and I am indebted to him for it. We will start the film in January," informed Ajay to TOI.

Later actress Sonakshi Sinha tweeted thanking Akshay for his big heart deed. 'BIG thank you to the Rowdy Rathore @akshaykumar for letting us have his title -- Son of Sardar! Ur a rockstar :)" she wrote. To this Akshay replied sarcastically, ""Sonakshi Sinha Ur 'Welcome', but Im not a 'RockStar' darlin Ranbir is, Im a 'Son of Sardar', dat is why i gav it to my 'Brother from a Different Mother' Ajay. Enjoy."

Hope one day we get to see the Khans dropping in at each others film sets and planning to work together in future projects. Who knows the time is soon to come!
