Akshay Kumar in the shoes of Dawood Ibrahim

Post the humongous success of Ekta Kapoor's home production Once Upon A Time In Mumbai (OUATIM) directed by Milan Luthria, the makers announced their plans of making a sequel. Since then, a lot of names have been floating around as to who would star in this sequel. Now, the verdict is finally out. And it's none other than Akshay Kumar who would be essaying the role of noted don Dawood Ibrahim in the sequel to OUATIM.

It may be recalled that the character to be played by Akshay in the sequel was portrayed by Emraan Hashmi in the original film. Akshay was officially announced as the main lead in the sequel to OUATIM at the Global Indian Film & Television Honors award show on Saturday night. Akshay was even seen in the look which would he would be sporting in the sequel.

As for Akshay, the actor would be seen sporting two different looks for his character of Shoaib in the sequel. In fact the makers are planning to rope in well-known make-up artists from Hollywood to give Akki a completely different look.
