Akshay Kumar, John Abraham are at each other's throat

Action sequence is one of the most intense moment in a film and when the action is between Bollywood hunks, Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, then one tends to expect some real fights. While shooting for a fight sequence in Sajid Nadiadwala's next production, Housefull 2, in London, the actors literally choked each other's throat.

John and Akshay were enacting a fight scene where in the verbal fight between them is extended to throat clutching. The shoot was so intense that the actor ended up hurting each other. Director Sajid Khan, confirms that news to Mid Day, “The idea was to give the audiences a dose of face-offs between the heroes. Like Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra, or Vinod Khanna in the older films, which we don't get to see on screen these days."

The director also explained that the shot was a tight close up of the actors faces, which demanded the real expressions and reactions from both of them. After the shot John was left suffocated with watery red eyes and marks on the neck, while Akshay was left red faced, gasping for breath for a few minutes.

The shot finally turned out to be the best shot of Sajid Khan in the film Housefull 2.
