Amitabh Bachchan spending a quiet birthday at his home

Many Bollywood actors have disappeared from the big screen after they crossed the age of 50. But Amitabh Bachchan is one B-Town star, who still continues to enjoy the heroism on screen even in his 60s and his recent movie Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap is the best example for it. The superstar has turned 69 today, but he prefers to spend his time on 69th birthday at his home.

Amitabh Bachchan is known for his simplicity and he does not like to have special plans like birthday bash for himself. So he is spending this birthday with his family. "There is no news of any birthday party. He'll be spending the day at home with his family. He is busy shooting the reality show," the Daily Bhaskar quotes Big B's spokesperson as saying.

However, Amitabh Bachchan's 69th birthday will reportedly be a low key affair. Like every year, his close friends and colleagues wish him on his birthday and his fans are also expected to gather at his house to wish him. A source says, "He might make an appearance for his fans. He has done so in the past."
