Amitabh Bachchan to make his debut in Hollywood

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan will make his Hollywood debut with Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, which will have Titanic superstar Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead.

Amitabh Bachchan is the latest to join this romantic drama, along with Scottish-Australian actress Isla Fisher. According to an official statement from Warner Bros Pictures, Amitabh Bachchan will perform the role of Meyer Wolfsheim, said an official statement from Warner Bros Pictures. The movie is based on F Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel 'The Great Gatsby'.

The 68 year old Amitabh Bachchan who has been a part of the Bollywood industry for the past four decades will ultimately be seen in a Hollywood film.

The film Great Gatsby will be distributed in 3D and 2D by Warner Bros Pictures and in certain territories by Village Roadshow Pictures. The film will also have Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, Carey Mulligan and newcomer Elizabeth Debicki star in the film.
