Amitabh Bachchan sharing screen with Sridevi after 18 yrs

Remember the dynamic chemistry between the couple in 1992 hit Khuda Gawah? How about seeing the same pairing in films like Inquilaab and Akhree Rashta?

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be sharing screen with veteran Sridevi again, almost after 18 years in the upcoming flick English Vinglish. Expressing his eagerness to work with Sridevi the actor says, “Sridevi still the same ... spontaneous and lovely ..!!"

English Vinglish will mark as the directorial debut of Gauri Shinde, director R Balki's wife. "Shooting today with the effervescent Sridevi after eternity almost...for R Balki's wife's directed film English Vinglish," informed Mr Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan and Balki have worked together in films like Cheeni Kum and Paa. English Vinglish is touted as Sridevi comeback to Bollywood. The actress will essay the role of a housewife, who enrolls for a spoken English course to impress her husband and family. Amitabh will be seen making a special appearance in the film.

Actress Sridevi was last seen in a full-fledged role in 1997 film Judaai with actor Anil Kapoor and actress Urmila Matondkar.
