Director
Anees
Bazmee
has
received
a
legal
notice
from
the
Percept
Picture
Company
(PPC),
which
has
threatened
to
file
a
lawsuit
against
him
for
not
refunding
Rs
51
lakh.
According
to
reports,
the
production
house
had
paid
to
the
Bollywood
filmmaker
for
a
film
called
Jeb
Hamari
Maal
Tumhara,
which
was
dropped
in
the
middle.
Reports
suggest
that
four
years
ago,
the
PPC
had
given
advance
payment
of
Rs
51
lakhs
to
director
Aneez
Bazmee
to
direct
the
film
Jeb
Hamari
Maal
Tumhara,
which
never
hit
the
floors.
But
now,
Aneez
Bazmee
is
not
ready
to
refund
the
signing
amount
when
PPC
asked
him
to
return
it.
So
the
production
house
has
now
appointed
an
arbitrator
and
served
a
legal
notice
to
Aneez
Bazmee.
However,
Anees
Bazmee
admits
that
he
had
received
the
money
from
the
PPC
four
years
ago.
But
what
he
claims
is
that
he
has
fulfilled
the
conditions
mentioned
in
his
contract.
The
director
says
that
he
had
written
the
script
and
was
ready
to
direct
the
film,
but
the
producers
could
not
get
the
actors
and
that
is
why
the
film
got
stalled.
