Anushka Sharma deserves someone better than me: Ranveer Singh

Actor Ranveer Singh, who is busy promoting his new movie Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl, has revealed that his co-star Anushka Sharma and he are close friends and there is nothing more than that. The budding Bollywood star, who was linked with her, says that she is very beautiful, intelligent and she deserves someone better than him.

In an exclusive interview with Rediff, Ranveer Singh gushed on his relationship with Anushka Sharma. “When I began my career, she was my only close friend. We are still great friends. We catch movies together and after shoots grab a meal together. But beyond that, there is no relationship," Ranveer told Rediff.

Ranveer Singh also confirmed that he is not Mr Right for Anushka. The actor added, “Doesn't she deserve someone better than me? She is beautiful, intelligent and very independent. I honestly think she deserves Mr Right and I am not Mr Right now!"

Meanwhile, the Band Baaja Baraat actor expressed his disappointment over his link-up with actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is acting with him in the film Lootera. He said that too much has been written about their relationship, which is not at all true. Ranveer Singh added, “I have just met her on four occasions and all of them have been professional."
