Actor
Arjun
Rampal
who
has
recently
gathered
a
lot
of
critical
acclaim
is
leaving
no
stone
unturned
for
his
role
as
an
actor
in
Madhur
Bhandarkar's
ambitious
project
Heroine.
The
actor
is
not
taking
inspiration
from
his
own
life.
Arjun,
who
is
starring
opposite
actress
Aishwarya
Rai
Bachchan,
in
Heroine
is
reportedly
taking
an
inspiration
from
actor
Shahrukh
Khan's
superstar
life
for
his
character
in
the
film.
Arjun
says
to
Mid
Day,
“I
am
not
telling
you
whom
I'm
going
to
model
my
character
on.
But
I
won't
deny
that
I'm
borrowing
traits
from
people
I've
observed
from
close
quarters.
In
theory
it
sounds
easy
for
me
to
play
an
actor,
because
I
am
one
myself.
But
Madhur
Bhandarkar
doesn't
want
me
to
play
me.
We
are
working
on
creating
an
entirely
new
character.
I
want
to
show
the
dark
and
vulnerable
side
of
the
man."
This
will
be
the
second
time
when
Rampal
will
be
starring
opposite
Aishwarya
Rai
Bachchan,
after
their
first
film
together,
Dil
Ka
Rishta.
The
actor
is
looking
forward
to
work
with
the
world
beauty
and
believes
that
they
have
a
great
on-screen
chemistry.
Simultaneously,
Rampal
is
working
for
his
role
as
a
cop
in
Tigmanshu
Dhulia's
Jai
Ramji.
Arjun
has
been
visiting
police
stations
in
Delhi
to
study
the
cops.
He
is
also
playing
a
gray
role
in
Sudhir
Mishra's
film
opposite
Chitrangda
Singh.
