Arshad Warsi to play Jolly LLB

While the Munna Bhai series' next, Munnabhai Chale Amerika is shelved for next year, the favourite Circuit, Arshad Warsi, is all set to get into the shoes of Jolly LLB. The film is being directed by Subhash Kapoor (from Phas Gaya Re Obama fame).

Unlike Munna Bhai MBBS, who turns out to be a useful man wanting to become a doctor, Jolly LLB is about a LLB qualified person who is a good-for-nothing man. Kapoor informs that LLB is a satire on the judicial system of India. Maximum portions of the film are shot in the college campus and a considerable amount of it is shot in the courtroom.

Reportedly, the film was first offered to superstar Shahrukh Khan, but later landed in the hands of Arshad Warsi. Kapoor is very confident that Arshad will pull off the role as Jolly LLB, because he has great amount of potential as an actor. The movie goes on floors in October and will be shot in Satara and Delhi.
